Job Description For PTV Management Jobs
As part of the Executive Management Team, the Executive Editor – PTV World will play a key leadership role in shaping the editorial and programming direction of the channel. Responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic direction to the PTV World team.
- Managing day-to-day operations of the channel.
- Ensuring team productivity and professional development.
- Designing content strategies aligned with national ideology and government policies.
- Leading collaboration across other PTV channels.
- Overseeing editorial and programming decisions.
- Acting as a liaison between management and editorial staff.
- Allocating resources for content sharing.
- Introducing new strategies to grow viewership.
- Innovating the channel’s look and programming ideas.
- Supervising special transmissions and major events.
- Managing PTV World’s digital content, including social media and the website.
- Ensuring editorial compliance and output quality.
- Staying updated with audience behavior and evolving digital trends.
Eligibility Criteria For PTV Management Jobs
Educational Qualification
- A Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- Degrees must be HEC-verified.
- Foreign-qualified candidates will be given preference.
Experience and Skills
- At least 15 years of experience in leading news/media channels.
- Previous experience in a senior editorial/management role is essential.
- Exposure to international media markets will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of content creation for news, infotainment, and digital platforms.
